Encounter at Zabte Sote’s September Showcase
On September 9th, 2024, I had the privilege of performing my new album, Encounter, alongside the amazing Arash Bolouri as part of Zabte Sote’s showcase at the 6th Tehran International Electronic Music Festival (Yarava), hosted at the Tehran Music Museum. Curated by the visionary Ata Ebtekar (Sote), this event exemplified the label’s dedication to pioneering experimental music and fostering bold artistic expressions.
The evening featured outstanding performances by Kaveh Sattari and Babak Ikani, leading up to my collaboration with the wonderful Arash Bolouri on santour. It was truly an honor to contribute to such a dynamic and innovative night that reflected Zabte Sote’s inspiring mission to push creative boundaries.
